Due to COVID-19, vulnerable populations including the elderly are increasingly at risk when they leave their home. This means they are unable to get their groceries, medications, and have increased loneliness. Our mission is to help serve these at-risk populations through partnerships with service organizations across the U.S.
We are starting in South Bend, Indiana and hope to continue to expand from there.

Are you or is a loved one
We want to alleviate this additional stressor by providing support through partnerships with volunteer organizations of low-risk individuals. Consider signing up for yourself or a loved one to get assistance in grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, and check-in support. to sign-up for support.
What about safety?
The safety of both our volunteers and the at-risk individuals is our top priority. We abide by the CDC recommendations and urge you to follow local updates with what is considered safe.
We take the privacy of your personal information very seriously and we will only use the data that you provide to match you with a COVID-19 Match that also lives in your community. Once we have made a match you will receive an email or a phone call with contact information for your COVID-19 Match. How can you
Once a match is made, you and your COVID-19 Match will take complete ownership of the process. The idea behind South Bend COVID-19 Match program is to connect vulnerable people to those who are at low risk for COVID-19 that are willing and able to help in this time of recommended social distancing. When you meet your match what you do and how often you do it is completely up to you. Some Recommended Ideas:
Call every couple of days to check in
Make a homemade card
Offer to pick up groceries or prescriptions
Deliver a homemade meal
